Within the framework of the ongoing preparations for holding “Building Digital Libya” Summit, jointly organized by the Arab ICT Organization and the General Authority for Communications and Informatics in the State of Libya, planned to be held during the period from 26 to 28 October 2021 at the Laico Hotel – Tunis, a delegation from the Arab ICT Organization chaired by His Excellency the Director-General, Eng. Mohamed ben Amor visited the State of Libya in order to further coordinate with the Libyan side for the success of this summit which aims to develop a road map in the State of Libya to build a sustainable digital economy in harmony with the global economy, based on the use of all modern technological tools and solutions.
Within this context, a joint press conference will be held with the General Authority for Communications and Informatics in the State of Libya to further introduce the various activities of this important event, several Meetings will also be held with many institutions and companies working in the field in the State of Libya with the aim of further coordinating the forum and ensuring wide and active participation from the Libyan side.
AICTO’s delegation was received by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Tripoli _ Mr. Al-Asaad Al-Ajili and the Consul General of the Republic of Tunisia in Tripoli, Mr. Tawfiq Al-Kasimi.
