A delegation from the Arab ICT Organization headed by its Director-General HE. Eng. Mohamed ben Amor participated in the works of Mobile World Congress, from February 28 to March 2, 2022 in Barcelona – Spain.
On the margin of this event, several meetings were held to discuss and enhance cooperation with high-level parties in the field of communication and information technologies, the most important of which are:
– A meeting with His Excellency Mr. Abdelaziz Ould Dahi, Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation and Modernization of Administration in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, to follow up on the subject of the joint organization of the Forum for “Building Digital Mauritania” and the Inter-regional Forum for Smart Agriculture.
– Meeting with His Excellency Dr. M. Ishaq Sidr, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the State of Palestine, during which the two parties discussed the future aspirations of the State of Palestine in the field of cybersecurity and its activities at the local and international levels.
– Meeting with GSMA Meeting with the CEO of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ICANN
It is worthy to mention that the Mobile World Congress (MWC2022) is the largest global exhibition for mobile technologies, organized by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA).
