The Palestinian city “Al-Qods” was selected to be the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2023, during the work of the (26th ) session of the Council of Arab ICT Ministers, held on December 23, 2022, where the council declared “ Al-Qods” the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2023.”
- Dr. Ishaq Seder, Minister of Telecom. & Information Technology affirmed that the Palestinian government pays great attention to the ICT sector and strives to develop it despite the challenges, stressing the commitment of the State of Palestine to being present in the Arab arena alongside with other Arab countries.
He also praised the Arab efforts that place Palestinian issues and Al-Qods as their top priorities.
He stressed the importance of the ICT sector and the extent of its impact on the future of the coming generations to contribute to global development and keep pace with the fast developments in technology.
