A delegation from the Arab ICT Organization, headed by HE/Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General, paid a working visit to ISESCO headquarters on May the 30th 2023.

The aim of the visit revolved around discussing ways and prospects for cooperation between the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) and the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO).

During the meeting, the discussion was constructive between HE/ Eng. Mohamed ben Amor and HE/ Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, Director General of the ISESCO, where both sides exchange their visions and ideas about the need to accelerate digital transformation within the Arab and Islamic countries from one hand and the necessity to focus on bridging the digital gaps from another hand.

Both sides stressed on the importance of the Education sector and the necessity to harness from facilities and benefits brought by ICT and mainly the new technological trends like Artificial Intelligence to enhance the quality of Education within our countries and achieve leadership in the field.

The main discussed topics among others :

  • Arabic Content
  • Digital trust and personal data protection
  • Artificial Intelligence and the new trends in Education

The two parties agreed on continuing exchange in order to turn all these common ideas and visions into concrete actions and projects for the benefit of Arab and Islamic countries.
