H.E. Eng. Mohamed ben Amor _ Director General of the Arab ICT Organization participated in Cyber Information Security and Cybersecurity Exhibition and Conference, on June 12 and 13, 2023 in Cairo – Arab Republic of Egypt.
During his Seepch in the opening session, He pointed out AICTO’s endeavor to activate joint Arab action in order to support the transition to the “All- digital” in Arab countries and contribute to overcoming the challenges they face considering the extraordinary opportunities and the endless facilities for economic and social development that the “All- digital” provides.
He also stressed AICTO’s keenness to overcome a greater challenge, which is ensuring safety to achieve a “successful and safe digital transition” at the same time, especially for countries that are not ready for such radical changes imposed by digital transformations.
In this context, he also mentioned AICTO’s contribution to the Arab and regional endeavors to protect cyberspace and handle the main weaknesses of cybersecurity in the Arab region, referring to the “Arab Cybersecurity Strategy launched by AICTO in 2022” and its vision : “Towards a safe, inclusive Arab society integrated into the global digital economy and self-sufficient solutions and expertise supporting digital confidence and trust within the Arab cyberspace.”
