The Director General of the Arab ICT Organization took part in the first international conference on digital transformation, Ramallah, State of Palestine – June 20, 2023.

Mohamed ben Amor _ Director General of the Arab ICT Organization participated in the First International Conference on Digital Transformation, on June 20, 2023, in Ramallah, State of Palestine, under the auspices of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, and within the framework of the kind invitation of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Ishaq Seder.
During his intervention, His Excellency the Director General stressed that digital transformation has become a vital necessity and a reality at the same time, indicating that the organization is keen to cooperate with all its members and partners from the region and the rest of the world to participate effectively in leading the path of successful Arab digital transformation.
In a related context, and on the sidelines of his participation in the first international conference on digital transformation during his first visit to the Palestinian territories, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Ishaq Sidr, received in the Ministry Headquarters His Excellency the Director General of the Arab ICT Organization, Eng / Mohamed ben Amor.
The meeting focused on the mechanisms of strengthening relations and cooperation between the State of Palestine and AICTO, and taking advantage of all available opportunities in the cybersecurity sector, artificial intelligence, and other aspects of AICTO’s work, considering its important role in the Arab region, and its impact on the advancement of member states and networking relations between them.
It’s worth to mention that the State of Palestine is a member of AICTO’s Executive Council.
