On Monday morning, December 2, 2024, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization, welcomed His Excellency Ambassador Bassem Yahya Hassan Qassem, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Tunisia, at the Organization’s headquarters in La Marsa suburb.
During the meeting, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Organization. He also presented an overview of AICTO’s activities, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, which aim to enhance the Arab region’s capabilities in these critical fields.
Ambassador Bassem Yahya Hassan Qassem emphasized Egypt’s commitment to these vital areas and its dedication to strengthening collaboration with the Organization in this field.
H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Omar commended Egypt’s efforts in advancing technology and expressed his aspiration for continued fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Organization and the Arab Republic of Egypt to support digital transformation and foster technological innovation across the Arab region.
