
Amman, 26 February 2025 – In a significant step toward advancing technology and digital innovation, the Arab ICT Organization, represented by its Director General, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, and the Arab Global Investor Forum, represented by its CEO and Board Member, His Excellency Mr. Natheem Mohammed Sabbah, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing took place alongside the second edition of the Arab World Forum for Digital Cooperation and Development, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 23 to 26 February 2025.
The ceremony was attended by high-level dignitaries, including His Excellency Mr. Sofiane Al-Hemissi, Minister of Communication Technologies of the Republic of Tunisia, Her Excellency Mrs. Moufida Al-Zribi, Ambassador of Tunisia to Jordan, Dr. Feras Bakour, President of the Arab Internet and Communications Union, and His Excellency Michael Faiq Sayegh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Global Investor Forum in addition to members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Office of the Forum.
This MoU aims to foster economic and social development in the Arab region by advancing the digital sector and promoting investment opportunities in technology and innovation. It also seeks to enhance collaboration between the two parties through knowledge exchange and joint projects that drive digital transformation across the Arab world.
Commenting on the partnership, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor stated:”We are pleased to sign this agreement, which marks a significant step in strengthening Arab cooperation in technology. The development of the digital sector is essential for fostering innovation and investment in our region.”
Mr. Natheem Mohammed Sabbah echoed this sentiment, expressing his optimism about the collaboration:”This memorandum aligns with the Forum’s mission to cultivate an advanced investment environment in the Arab world.
