
H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), received H.E. Ambassador Rami Farouk Al-Qadoumi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Tunisia, on the morning of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at AICTO’s headquarters in La Marsa.
During the meeting, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor renewed his congratulations to H.E. Ambassador Al-Qadoumi on his appointment and commended the State of Palestine’s efforts in supporting and developing the ICT sector. He reaffirmed AICTO’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and provided an overview of the Organization’s activities, particularly in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the transition to IPv6—key areas aimed at enhancing digital capabilities across the Arab region.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Qadoumi expressed his enthusiasm for deepening collaboration with AICTO, highlighting the Organization’s vital role in advancing digital transformation and fostering technological innovation. He also emphasized his aspiration to strengthen the partnership between AICTO and the State of Palestine, contributing to the overall development of the digital landscape in the Arab world.
