Amman was selected as the Arab Digital Capital for 2025 during the 28th session of the of Arab ICT Ministers’ Council, held on January 23, 2025, in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. The Council officially announced “Amman“ as the Arab Digital Capital for the year.
This recognition highlights the significant efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in advancing the communications and information technology sector, as well as its pioneering initiatives aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure, empowering individuals, and fostering a secure and equitable digital environment.
In this context, the Arab ICT Organization, as the Arab coordinator of the Arab Digital Capital Initiative, will support and coordinate national and regional initiatives organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in Jordan.
