On December 17, 2024, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), met with H.E. Dr. Dima Yahya Al-Yahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), at the DCO headquarters in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director-General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), participated as a keynote speaker in a panel discussion organized by ESCWA titled “Governance of Artificial Intelligence in the Arab Region: Challenges and Prospects.” The session, hosted by the Digital Government Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, took place on December 15, 2024, in Riyadh.

As part of the continuous support extended by the Tunisian government to the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Tunisians Abroad, received His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the AICTO, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

HE. Eng. Mohamed ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization, took part in the twelfth Regional Cybersecurity Week 2024, held from October 28-29 in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The event, organized by the Arab Regional Cybersecurity Center in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Cybersecurity Centers, brought together leaders and experts in cybersecurity to address pressing challenges in the field.

The Arab ICT Organization delegation, led by His Excellency Eng. Mohamed ben Amor, Director General, actively participated in the 4th edition of the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), held from October 2-3, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Eng. Mohamed ben Amor_ Director General of the Arab ICT Organization participated as a speaker in SAMENA Telecommunications Council’s Leaders Summit for the year 2023 under the theme "Sustainable Connectivity and Emerging Ecosystems in Digital Economy", which was held in Dubai - the city of the United Arab Emirates, on May 15, 2023.
