On Monday, October 9, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Falah Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Qatar Postal Services Company, received His Excellency Engineer Mohamed ben Amor, the Director-General of AICTO at the company’s headquarters in Qatar.
The meeting revolved around bolstering cooperation between the Qatar Postal Services Company and the organization, with the aim of advancing the postal sector in the Arab region.
During the session, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed ben Amor, the Director-General, praised Qatar’s pivotal role in the postal industry. He highlighted the ongoing global evolution of postal services, driven by the exponential growth of e-commerce, which has introduced new issues and challenges affecting all stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and postal institutions worldwide. Consequently, he emphasized the imperative of increasing collaboration and coordination to foster sectoral growth and effectively address these challenges.
On his part, Mr. Falah Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Qatar Postal Services Company, expressed Qatar’s readiness to support the organization’s efforts in developing this vital sector locally and within the Arab region.
