H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), welcomed H.E. Ambassador Abdulaziz Mohammed Abdullah Al-Eid, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Tunisia, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at AICTO’s headquarters in La Marsa.

During the meeting, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor provided an overview of AICTO’s key initiatives, particularly in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and the transition to IPv6, all aimed at strengthening the Arab region’s capabilities in these critical areas.

H.E. Ambassador Abdulaziz Mohammed Abdullah Al-Eid highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to these significant topics and expressed his dedication to fostering closer collaboration with AICTO in these domains.

H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor commended the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership in the technological sector, recognizing it as a pioneer among Arab nations. He emphasized AICTO’s aspiration to enhance constructive and fruitful cooperation with Bahrain to support digital transformation and promote technological innovation across the Arab region.
