The Arab ICT Organization, headed by its Director-General, HE. Eng. Mohamed ben Amor participated in the working session for joint Arab Action organizations and institutions under the title “The Role of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2030”, which was held on February 14, 2022, within the framework of the Arab Sustainable Development Week organized by the League of Arab States in partnership with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development of the Arab Republic of Egypt (13-15 February 2022, Cairo).
His Excellency the Director-General of AICTO highlighted the important and vital role played by ICT in achieving sustainable development goals, pointing out that the tremendous development in this sector and the reliance on digital solutions and applications of artificial intelligence in various areas of life have significantly contributed to the growth of national economies on the one hand and achieving The welfare of citizens in all fields through many creative and innovative services on the other hand.
