The Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) is pleased to announce that the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in Egypt has launched a new regulatory framework for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), marking the latest regulatory initiative by the NTRA in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
This framework is designed to encourage investment in the establishment and leasing of shared infrastructure for mobile networks within buildings, enhancing the quality of wireless coverage and expanding communication range in high-traffic areas. By improving connectivity within buildings, this framework enables companies to provide better services to their customers and allows individuals to enjoy a seamless digital experience anywhere.
Launched as part of NTRA’s ongoing commitment to advancing digital transformation, this regulatory framework aims to build a robust telecommunications infrastructure aligned with the latest global innovations and responsive to user needs. The DAS system is expected to significantly enhance digital connectivity, strengthening modern networks and delivering a more reliable and stable connection for users.
